Each Cairnrose arrangement has a fixed price and a stated scope — a session, a three-month period, or a six-to-nine month accompaniment. Families know what the engagement covers before it begins and what falls outside it, including what to budget for government fees, professional firms and third-party translation costs.
There are no open-ended retainers and no surprise additions. If the scope of a family's situation turns out to need a different arrangement, that conversation happens early rather than midway through the work.

The first stone on every Cairnrose path is a boundaries stone — a plain written statement of what this engagement covers and what it does not. Closing handover meeting
At the end of the Complete Path Accompaniment, a closing handover meeting is held with the family to walk through the completed archive, confirm that all stones are ticked off, and hand over the full file in a form the family can maintain independently going forward.
